The annual general meeting of the MOR GLAZ Asssociation's bureau was held

on 14th December 2016 at 11h30 in Brest, Quai Eric TABARLY.

Ms. Françoise GAILL entered the association bureau by unanimous vote of those present.

Ms. Françoise GAILL is Director Emeritus for research at CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) The Association's treasory is healthy, besides we have noticed an increase in membership in 2016 due to our presence during the 2016 maritime festival in Brest, so we now have over 300 members.

The MOR GLAZ Association objectives

Maintain the same course to ensure a stronger maritime safety, for an enlarged strategic maritime fleet.

For an obligation for " Embarked Passive Safety " for all ships under construction. Bureau members applauded the efforts made in this direction by the maritime groups " CMA CGM " and " LOUIS DREYFUS ARMATEURS ".

Less present in the media for some months, The MOR GLAZ Association however, continues to work " to militate " to defend to the Sea, Seagoers, and all marine activites, respecting Mankind and the environment.

The objectives for 2017 remain unchanged : be present everywhere, bring our reflections to the highest level of government departments and agencies, in order to further maritime safety, the rights of seafarers and the respect for the oceans.
